ArkPixels 1.4.4: An Update Focused on Stability

An update focused on stability: improved achievement scrolling and fixes for game details, reminders and scroll restoration in Search and Explore.

ArkPixels 1.4.4 focuses on Android app stability and the everyday actions you take while managing your video game library: browsing achievements, updating platforms, setting a reminder or returning to a search.

This update improves achievement scrolling and fixes crashes affecting game details, reminders and saved positions in Search and Explore. Here is what changes in everyday use.

Achievements: Progressive Loading and Preserved Positions

Browsing a long achievement list should let you keep your place. In the Achievements tab of My Game, entries load progressively as you scroll, using an updated list implementation.

Your position is preserved during refreshes and when you switch tabs and return. You can pick up where you left off without scrolling through the achievements you have already reviewed.

Game Details: Platform Refresh Crash Fixed

We fixed a crash that could occur when a game’s platforms were refreshed before the Details tab had been opened. This could also happen after saving playtime.

The app now handles that sequence correctly, keeping the platform information ready to display when you open the tab.

More Reliable Game Reminders

Setting or cancelling a reminder and immediately leaving the page is a normal part of using the app. Version 1.4.4 fixes a crash caused by reminder operations finishing after the game page had been closed.

Scheduling and cancellation operations you have already confirmed finish even after you leave the page. Changes remain associated with the selected game and profile. Expired reminder handling has also been improved to preserve reminders that have since been rescheduled.

Closing Game Pages During the Cover Animation

Another fix addresses leaving a game page while its cover header is collapsing during scrolling. An animation update could previously reach the page after it had closed, causing the app to crash.

The page now handles those updates safely when closing, while preserving the header and icon behaviour while it remains open.

Search: Restore Results Without Losing Your Place

ArkPixels 1.4.4 fixes crashes that could occur when restoring the saved state of Search. The correction covers both the initial browsing catalogue and expanded search results.

Scroll positions and filters are preserved, including when results are still loading. Restoration waits until the necessary content is available.

Explore: Restore Horizontal Row Positions

Explore also receives a fix for restoring saved positions. We resolved a crash that could interrupt the restoration of its horizontal rows.

Each section keeps its own position. If content is still loading, the saved state remains available and is applied when the row is ready to display it. This helps you return to the same point even after the screen has been recreated.
