What is a video game backlog tracker?
A video game backlog tracker keeps the games you own but have not finished or started in one organized list. ArkPixels adds filters, progress, reminders and statistics so the backlog becomes something you can understand and use.
Can I track physical and digital games together?
Yes. ArkPixels keeps physical and digital copies in the same personal catalog while preserving the platform, store and details of every copy.
Can ArkPixels import my Steam library?
Yes. Connect a Steam profile to import the games you own there when you want the shortcut. Games from other PC stores and consoles can be added manually, including physical copies.
Do I need Steam to use ArkPixels?
No. You can build and use the entire library without Steam. Importing a Steam profile is optional and simply saves time for games you own there.
How does Play Next choose a game?
Play Next suggests games from the active profile library using the mode and filters you choose. It can help resume, continue or finish a game, explore the backlog or find a surprise. It is separate from the random picker and scheduled backlog notifications.
Does the session timer change my Steam playtime?
No. Sessions record local play separately from imported Steam time. You can pause a timer, add a session manually and choose whether session time contributes to totals and statistics.
Can I add my own news sources?
Yes. Add a direct HTTPS RSS feed in Manage RSS sources and preview it before saving. The app downloads feeds directly to your device. RSS notifications and widgets are optional.
Can I use ArkPixels for free?
Yes. Free includes the personal library, Play Next, session tracking, metadata, one optional Steam profile, the statistics overview and manual Google Drive backup and restore. Advanced statistics are part of Pro and Family.
