ArkPixels 1.4.1: Easier Sign-In, Sessions and Library Actions

ArkPixels 1.4.1 makes a few everyday things easier, from signing in to organizing games and keeping track of a play session. Here’s a closer look at what’s changed and how to use it.

Sign in with Google, or stay local

You can now sign in to ArkPixels with Google. If you already have an ArkPixels account, you can connect it to Google sign-in and use either option to access your account.

You can also keep using a local profile. Subscriptions can now be purchased with a local profile, without creating an ArkPixels account first.

Get things done right from your Library

Press and hold a game in your Library to open its radial quick actions. Choose an action from the menu, such as adding the game to a collection. To open the game itself, release in the center of the menu.

Local achievements and playtime are also easier to see alongside your games. That makes it simpler to check on your collection while you browse, without having to hunt around for the details.

Keep your session close at hand

ArkPixels tracks the time in your game sessions and gives you controls to manage them. With 1.4.1, you can also reach session controls from Android’s Quick Settings. That’s handy when a session is already running and you want to check in without reopening the app.

Session time stays separate from playtime imported from Steam. You can choose whether to include your recorded sessions in your totals and statistics.

Restore and manage Drive backups

The Google Drive backup flow is easier to manage, and restoring a backup takes fewer steps. It can be useful when setting up ArkPixels again or bringing your saved collection data back after reinstalling the app.

Plus a few fixes

There are also smaller fixes and refinements throughout the app. Nothing flashy, just a smoother experience while you sign in, browse your games, track a session or manage a backup.
