ArkPixels 1.4.0 adds new ways to choose your next game, personalize game details and follow news from your preferred sources.
Choose what to play with Play Next
Play Next suggests a game from your local library. Choose from Resume, Continue, Backlog, Finish, Quick game and Surprise me, then narrow the selection by status, owned copies and platform.
You can request another suggestion, exclude individual games and manage exclusions separately for each profile.
Customize your game tabs
My Game now lets you reorder tabs, hide optional tabs and choose which one opens by default. Overview remains available, and you can reset your preferences at any time.
Access your sessions more easily
Start or resume a session through app shortcuts and reminders. A new Quick Settings tile lets you pause an active session, resume a paused one or open the game selector when no session is running.
Game reminders also offer a 30-minute snooze. Backlog notifications let you request another suggestion or silence further suggestions for the rest of the day.
Follow RSS news
News sections in the Hub and Explore bring RSS articles into the app, with a dedicated bottom sheet for browsing the list.
Add your own feed URLs, preview them before saving and enable or remove sources. Feeds are fetched directly by your device.
Updated Hub presentation
The Hub gains a looping carousel with automatic scrolling. Individual sections have their own loading indicators, and RSS cards receive improvements to presentation and loading states.
Control explicit content visibility
A new setting lets you hide explicit content in IGDB browsing areas.
Reliability improvements
This release also improves reminder recovery after device restarts, handles foreground Steam sync startup more reliably and refines cache refresh behavior.
Google Drive backups now include Play Next filter preferences and My Game tab customization.
